Students with a focus on applied art, photography, printmaking, painting, and sculpture demonstrated their impressive talent.
LPU Organized Kala Sangam
The annual art exhibition “Kala Sangam” and the international conference “Brushstrokes of Innovation” on modern trends in fine arts were both held by the LPU department of fine arts. It was an international assembly of distinguished individuals devoted to investigating state-of-the-art advancements in the field of art.
Col. Rashmi Mittal, a pro-Chancellor, opened the show. The event was graced by invited speaker Dr. Pothala Praveen, the President of STEMIO Stem, Singapore, and keynote speaker Shri Krishana Shetty, an artist, art critic, and current trustee of Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal. The session chair was Dr. Nandlal Thakur, Vice Chairman of LKA, Delhi, and Dr. Gomathi Gowda, Principal of the College of Fine Arts, Karnataka.
Mrs. Rashmi Mittal commended the pupils’ achievements and urged them to continue their exploration. She stated that almost 500 pieces relating to painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and applied art were on display at the exhibition, demonstrating the students’ remarkable talent. The pieces, which showed the evolving artistic journey of the aspiring artists, were commended for their originality and beauty.
The difficulties and useful information and technologies available in the creative field were discussed by Shri Krishana Shetty. His wide expertise has given him important insights that have enhanced our appreciation and comprehension of the arts.
Speaking about the value of maintaining traditional art forms, Dr. Nandlal Thakur emphasized that nothing can take the place of creating art in the traditional manner. His direction and leadership have made sure that the meetings run well, encouraging lively debates and productive idea sharing.
The President of STEMIO Stem, Singapore, Dr. Pothala Praveen, offered insightful insights on the arts research and education system. The conversation at this conference has been greatly enhanced by his attendance. To further enhance the scholarly conversation, academics and staff members from several universities presented research papers during the event.
